When a craving for comfort food hits, the best thing to do is just indulge it. Since Burger District opened in Arlington a few weeks ago, you have a go-to restaurant nearby. Squash your craving with the Big George burger, a 24-ounce loaded patty that lives up to its name. Six pieces of aged Wisconsin cheddar cheese, six strips of smoked bacon, red onions, lettuce, tomatoes, and District Sauce pile onto the massive burger.
If you'd prefer a more petite burger, try the Au Poivre. The peppercorn-crusted patty features roasted garlic, tomatoes, caramelized onions, and a whiskey cream sauce, all tucked inside of a brioche bun. Burger District also allows patrons to build their own burgers, starting with cheese, then adding on toppings that range from simple lettuce and tomato to avocado, a fried egg, and even peanut butter.
