Mac and cheese is a "comfort food," the sort of meal you make yourself when you just want to stay home and relax. But on October 5, Ballston will host a public celebration of this classic American dish with the NoVA Mac and Cheese Festival. Some of the region’s top chefs and most popular food trucks will be on site cooking up their most flavorful versions of mac and cheese. To top it off, there will be beer and wine vendors, as well as plenty of live music and entertainment throughout the day.
Tickets are available at three price points. Entry tickets are $20 in advance or $35 day-of, with all food purchases at a la carte prices. Don’t want to mess with a-la-carte pricing? Go for the $40 ticket, which includes 10 food tickets and one beverage coupon. Finally, for $55 you can get the full VIP experience, with early access, private bathroom facilities, 10 food tickets and two beverage coupons. Kids under 9 get in for free.
