Cereal Meets Cinema at Arlington Drafthouse’s Valentine’s Day Event

Sick of the same old Valentine’s Day dinner and a movie? This year, do something a little different and check out the Spoons, Toons, and Booze Valentine’s Day Special at the Arlington Drafthouse. As part of this unique event, you’ll be able to revisit your favorite love-themed cartoons while enjoying an all-you-can-eat cereal bar and adult beverages.

The Spoons, Toons, and Booze events happen regularly throughout the year and are extremely popular. For Valentine’s Day, the hosts are putting a romantic spin on the event and will be showing cartoons that feature all the joy and heartbreak love can bring. Guests will compete in on-stage contests for the chance to choose which cartoons are shown from a menu of more than 100 cartoon series.

In addition to the cereal bar — which will offer dozens of sugary varieties — you’ll also be able to drop a “cereal shot” of Bailey’s or Kahlua into your bowl for some extra fun. Specialty cocktails like the Sonny, a white Russian topped with Cocoa Puffs, will also be available.

These events are a must-do for anyone living in Arlington, and the Valentine’s Day is a perfect event whether you’re single or dating. Tickets for the event are $15 and often sell out. Doors open at 11:30 a.m. and the event begins at noon.
