Even if you’ve been ordering more takeout lately, you probably haven’t been doing much of that for brunch. Ruthie’s All Day might inspire you to change your ways. The recently opened restaurant just debuted a weekend brunch menu that’s worth bending the rules for—especially if you’re a fan of Southern comfort food.
Ruthie’s chef reimagines barbecue in brunch-friendly ways, like the brisket hash. A golden-brown bed of roasted potatoes mingles with seared squash, Brussels sprouts, and peppers beneath a mountain of tender brisket and a poached egg, all decorated with a drizzle of mustard-seed cream. Prefer pork? Try the pulled pork bowl with grits and pickled Fresno peppers. Ruthie’s also dishes out sweet brunch dishes, like the apple pie pancakes, and morning-appropriate cocktails, like the Tee Time with iced English breakfast tea, Beefeater gin, honey, and lemon. Order for pickup or delivery, or come in for limited indoor or outdoor dining with safety precautions in place.
